Our Work

Africa's Largest Non-for-Profit for Child Welfare and Education

At Ezabs Foundation, we believe that solutions to Africa’s greatest challenges can come from within Africa. Environmental cleaning is a fundamental principle of infection prevention in healthcare settings. According to recent WHO figures, an estimation of about 12.6 million people die yearly as a result of living or working in an unhealthy environment, accounting for roughly one-quarter of all worldwide fatalities. Our role is to work and collaborate with partners whose bold ideas and creative approaches have the potential to save vulnerable persons, improve education, and help families all across the African continent starting with Nigeria.

Our Goals at a Glance

what we are doing

Our Agenda

Resources

With the high inflation rate in Nigeria, many people from low-income communities cannot afford essential commodities. We aim to help provide this day-to-day household commodities so that every person in a household can be happier.

Healthcare

More than 100 illnesses and injuries are linked to environmental risk factors such as air, water, and soil pollution. It is our aim to ensure that every community in Nigeria are aware of these facts and to ensure that regular cleaning of the environment is envisaged as a basic way of life for healthy living.

Food bank

In Africa in 2020, one in every five persons was hungry, and about 282 million people are malnourished. Food is an essential necessity, and every household should not go to be hungry. We aim to achieve this by assisting the sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 to end hunger.

Education

It is our belief that everyone should have access to quality education and information. We aim to help educate both children and adults on different general knowledge such as menstrual hygiene, health awareness and environmental awareness.
Program / 01

PAD a Girl

The PAD a Girl program is focused on educating a girl child about healthy menstruation and giving a girl child a pad. A pad is a necessity, and every girl should have access to it, the basic price of one sanitary towel/pad in Nigeria today is 500 naira, and the minimum wage is 30,000 naira/month, equivalent to $70/month making it very hard for a family who finds it difficult to feed to afford a pad a month for their girl child. We are committed through this cause to ensure that by 2040 every girl have access to free pads. Access to timely, accurate information on puberty and menstruation can result in enhanced body literacy, a positive public attitude of menstruation, and a reduction in stigma and shame. Every Woman, every girl, Everywhere deserves safety, privacy and dignity to manage her menstrual health.

Program / 02

Health Education & Awareness

It is our belief that regardless of socioeconomic status, race, or gender, all people should have access to education. In supporting the Sustainable Development Goals which seek to ensure that all individuals have access to quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities, we intend to help educate the populace on the importance of good health hygiene and environmental practices. The health education and awareness program will also aim at supporting existing education centers to provide educational products to students.

Program / 03

Food Relief

The food bank is aimed at assisting people who are experiencing food insecurity. We aim to be able to provide food to people who do not have the means to afford 3 square meals daily. This is also to help alleviate hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria and Africa at large. In doing this, we hope to be able to work with network of partner organizations to distribute food to those in need.  this is to ensure that at the least everyone has access to food every day.
